Hi, I’m Mylène — a Toronto-based Senior UX Designer.

For 15+ years, I’ve helped teams transform complex workflows into simple, human-centered digital experiences across web and mobile.

My UX design process

1. Understanding the problem

I begin by clarifying the problem and uncovering real user needs through research and discovery.
• Conduct and review user research
• Map workflows and identify pain points
• Analyze data and existing tools
• Align early with stakeholders and SMEs

2. Defining key design goals

I translate insights into clear, actionable goals that guide the solution.
• Prioritize user and business needs
• Identify constraints and success criteria
• Establish the foundation for design direction

3. Ideation & Exploration

I explore multiple ways to solve the problem before committing to a direction.
• Sketch early concepts and alternative flows
• Build low-fidelity wireframes
• Establish structure, interactions, and hierarchy
• Collaborate closely with product and development
• Test assumptions and compare ideas quickly

4. Iterative Design

I refine the experience through continuous iteration and collaboration.
• Create mid- and high-fidelity designs & prototypes
• Validate with users, SMEs, internal teams and users
• Address edge cases, interactions, and patterns

5. Final Design Solution

I deliver a polished, user-centered solution ready for development.
• Prepare developer-ready prototypes & mockups
• Document interactions and states
• Support build and QA to ensure design intent is preserved
